WALLOP WATER has partnered with Thredbo, Australia’s premier year-round alpine destination, for a Sustainable Summer.
Thredbo hosted world-class events and activities this summer, making it the perfect destination for families and adventure seekers. Visitors could enjoy Australia’s most scenic hiking trails, the longest gravity biking trails, and various outdoor activities such as fishing.
To support Thredbo’s commitment to sustainability, WALLOP WATER installed five EVENTA TRIOS units, which consumed a substantial 34,351 litres of water and saved 68,702 bottles from landfill. This initiative has significantly impacted the environment, saving 44,656.3 kilograms of CO2, 8,587.8 litres of crude oil, and 103,053 litres of water over the southern Summer of 2023/24.
WALLOP WATER’s involvement in Thredbo’s summer events provides visitors with access to fresh, filtered water and highlights the importance of reducing single-use plastic waste.
