Trailer Bar to the Pilbara

From Workshop to the Pilbara – Wallop Water’s Next-Gen Trailer Bar Hits the Road

Innovation, Family, and a 4,000km Road Trip

It’s been a cracking few weeks at Wallop Water Australia as our custom build crew keeps raising the bar — literally. We’ve just wrapped and delivered the latest Trailer Bar 2.0, and this one’s something special.

The WA Water trailer bar 2.0 hit the road, clocking up over 4,000km - 54 hours driving from our Melbourne workshop up to the Pilbara.

Not just because of the hardware (though it’s packed with it), but because it marks a big milestone for one of our young team legends, Nick Plant.

Under the mentorship of our Co-Founder and build boss Ryan Tait, Nick’s gone from apprentice to project lead — managing the entire build of this next-gen trailer from the ground up. Even better, he’s the son of our other Co-Founder Bruce Plant. Bit of a full-circle moment for the crew.

A Tough Brief from WA’s North

Our client, WA Water Trailer Hire, based in the Pilbara, came to us looking for a high-impact, flexible hydration solution that could go anywhere and do it all — no power, no water hookup, no worries. Their customers include some of the country’s largest mining companies, and they support numerous community events across the region. So this trailer had to tick a lot of boxes.

We reckon we nailed it.

Melbourne to the Pilbara – One Hell of a Haul

After its final polish, the trailer hit the road, clocking up over 4,000km from our Melbourne workshop up to the Pilbara. That’s a big haul, but a journey for what we reckon is a turning point in the future of WALLOP WATER.

Because this wasn’t just about a trailer — it was about trust, growth, and backing our young people to lead from the front.

Nick stepped up, owned the build, and delivered a ripper. The next generation is here, and they’re having a real crack.
